CANDLE CARE

Because every intentional moment begins with a safe, beautiful burn.

Before the First Burn

Set the tone — literally.
Trim your wood wick to about 1/4in  before lighting. A shorter wick ensures a steady, even flame.
On your first burn, allow the wax to melt completely to the edges of the jar. This helps prevent tunneling and creates an even surface for future burns.
Place your candle on a heat-safe surface, away from drafts, ceiling fans, or direct sunlight.

During Each Burn

Keep the flame calm and intentional.
Wood wicks burn differently from cotton — you’ll hear a soft, cozy crackle.
Burn your candle for 2–4 hours at a time to enjoy a clean, even pool of wax.
Never move or handle a burning candle; allow it to cool before touching.

After Each Burn

Prepare for your next light.
Once cooled, gently pinch or trim away the charred wood before your next use.
Keep the wax surface clear of any debris, wick trimmings, or matches.
Replace your bamboo lid after each use to keep your scent fresh and dust-free.

When It’s Time to Say Goodbye

Sustainability is part of what we create.
Stop burning when about ½ inch of wax remains at the bottom.
To clean your jar: chill it in the freezer for a few hours — the remaining wax will easily pop out.
Repurpose your ceramic vessel for small plants, makeup brushes, or décor. Every element can find new life.

Safety Reminders

For peace of mind — and safe burning:
Never leave a candle unattended or burn near flammable materials.
Keep out of reach of children and pets.
Always burn on a stable, heat-resistant surface.
If the flame flickers excessively or smokes, extinguish, trim the wick, and relight once cooled.

Did You Know?

Wood wicks burn cleaner and longer than traditional cotton wicks.
They create less soot, making them gentler for the air in your home.
The soft crackling sound comes from natural wood fibers, creating a cozy, fireside   experience every time you light one.

Our Philosophy: Trim · Burn · Reset

A candle is more than wax and wick — it’s an experience.
Trim: Keep your wick short for a cleaner, steadier burn.
Burn: Let the wax melt evenly to honor the full life of your candle.
Reset: After each use, trim, clean, and prepare your candle for next time.

A Note from Nicole

Each candle is crafted to bring calm, clarity, and connection — but its beauty depends on how it’s cared for.
These simple steps protect your candle, extend its life, and ensure that every burn is as intentional as the first.

From my home to yours, thank you for making III Elements a part of your moments.
